It lets you send emails from the Windows command line or the MSDOS setting.

Blat is a simple way to send emails from the Windows command line (Or from the MSDOS setting) using the SMTP protocol to do it.

It is ideal to send the same email in batches to many different destinations; you can even program it to automatically send these emails. For each of the emails sent with Blat, it saves details of the configuration.

In Blat you can also attach files so they can be sent together with the email text. As it can be run from the command line, Blat is a very interesting tool to be referred to from other applications by using scripts.
